bodkin! loving ny designers, part two.

I am so glad for the wisdom of those who came before. Here is a great link to a chat with Tonya Boone and Regina Root, collaborating professors at the College of William and Mary, talking about what the heck 'eco-fashion' might be. It's smart. I only have to disagree with their idea that organic cotton isn't necessarily better in context of processing. Organic is always, always, always better in the big picture!

Now check out these gorgeous pieces from Bodkin's Spring/Summer 2010 collection!
here's the word on Bodkin from their website...lovely, eh?

A bodkin is a dagger, hairpin, or sharp, slender instrument used for making holes in cloth.

Hi Crystal,
I got your email forwarded but your address wasn't on it! You can get the dress and catsuit from Bird in Brooklyn at 220 Smith St. (the store in Park Slope also has the dress) or try Jumelle, Albertine in NYC. Bonadrag.com also has the catsuit only. Store info at www.bodkin.us/stockists.

I love the blog!

xx,
